Pop Cap has released a new trailer which shows one of gaming modes, Gardens and graveyards, which we will see in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, which is inspired by Rush and Conquest modes from EA's Battlefield series. The zombies in this game will assume the role of attacker and their team will work to take the base of plants, before engaging in a final showdown in which they will have to destroy the point of interest in order to win the match.

Team plants will have the option of building the defense in  tower-defense style to make it easier to protect the base against the invasion of zombies, and how it will all look in practice you can see in the attached video. Plants vs. Zombies : Garden Warfare will be released on the 20th February next year for PC , Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
