Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 Mac Edition specifications match the version for PCs - a GPU clock speed of 800 MHz and 1792 stream processors, and there is a 3 GB GDDR5 of effective 5 GHz clock speed. As you can see on picture, it comes with a white chamber type cooling system which is not always the best solution.
Apple is the last developer preview release of Mac OS X 10.8.3 added support for Radeon with GCN architecture (7970, 7950, 7870, 7770 and 7750), so that the graphic system upgrade on Mac Pro with this solution should pass without any problems . The card will go on sale this spring with a price of $450, and since it's the Mac version the price is not much at all.
