Sanjay Jha is the new CEO of GlobalFoundries

Former CEO of Motorola Mobility, Sanjay Jha, under whose leadership the company was sold to Google, will assume leadership of GlobalFoundries. Sanjay Jha was the chief executive officer of Qualcomm, and from the chief position at Motorola Mobility stepped won in 2012.

CEO of the GlobalFoundries, Ibrahim Ajami, said that Sanjay is one of the most respected leaders in the technology industry, and that he will on the place of company's CEO ensure its positioning for steady growth. GlobalFoundries was founded in 2009 when separation of departments that produce chips from AMD occured, and is owned by the Abu Dhabi Emirate, who are managing the company through the company Advanced Technology Investment Company (ATIC).

The current CEO of Globalfoundries, Ajit Manocha, will return to its previous position of corporate shareholders consultant.
