Facebook went shopping once again. After the $20 billion spent on WhatsApp and Instagram, to name just a bigger acquisitions, another mobile application - Moves, will be assimilated.

Founder and CEO of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, bought one of the world's most respected newspaper publication, the famous Washington Post, for $250 million. He will pay with his own money, not the Amazon's, which obviously points out that Amazon will not have any business relationship with the newspaper, and Bezos himself said on this occasion that the publishing policy of the Washington Post will not change - all editors and all journalists remain in their positions until further notice.

Rumors are fun things, but in the end a good deal of them can be counted out with little more than common sense (and a little research). An interesting rumor that popped up in the past weeks is one that is trying to claim that AMD is a prime target for acquisition. Right now the potential buyers are listed as Samsung and Qualcomm, but does any of that make sense? Is AMD really a prime target for acquisition and are they ready to be bought out by someone else?
