Details for the next Tomb Raider revealed

TombRaider2013

Stop the press, finally new details about the next installment of Tomb Raider. To finish the new Tomb Raider you will be required to play for fifteen hours [Not a bad amount of game play, but still short compared to older games – Ed]. Crystal Dynamics says the game is quite unpredictable. Karl Stewart from Crystal Dynamics tweeted answers to several questions made by fans of the Tomb Raider series. Stewart estimates that to complete Tomb Raider it should take between 12 to 15 hours, depending on the style of the game, and the story’s unpredictable twists.

In addition, it appears that Lara Croft in the new Tomb Raider forgot how to swim, so you should stay away from deeper water. I never understood why they make games where you can’t swim, jump or do similar actions, but that does not necessarily means that the game will be bad. On the technical side, it is worth mentioning that the Lara's health regenerates over time as in many other of today's games.

Crystal Dynamics says they will carefully consider making another installment of Tomb Raider, but before that they will wait for the reaction on the next part. Tomb Raider was supposed to come to stores this fall, but due to delay it will be coming to the market on the 5th of March 2013. You can get your Laura Croft fix on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
