HTC marks losses for the first time since 2002.

Ever since the company became public in 2002, HTC recorded only positive business results. This week they announced a new quarterly report covering the third quarter of this year, in which HTC for the first time reported losses, which amount to 100 million dollars.

AnandTech did a research on benchmark tests for mobile phones, and when they finished with analysing data which was collected from July to September this year, confirmation came that almost every manufacturer of smart devices cheats when performing benchmark tests.

Bioshock 2 moves to Steam

After the Games For Windows LIVE Marketplace was closed in August, many titles were left without adequate support, including BioShock 2. Therefore, the developers made some changes over the past few months and from yesterday BioShock 2 is available through Steam, including all content related to multiplayer and DLC Protector Trials.

Adobe Loses 2.9Million User's Data Along with Source Code to Hackers ** Update**

The threat of a data breach is one that every company faces and it is also an eventuality that they all know can happen at any time. The number of daily attempt to penetrate corporate security is staggering as is the number of successful attack where at least some data is taken. It is for this reason that we still a confused when companies want to move to a cloud based or subscription style software agreement. Once all of that billing information is stored in a single spot (even multiple data centers) it becomes a very big target. Adobe has found that out the hard way as they are now reporting a breach that lost the information for approximately 2.9 Million users and source code for Cold Fusion and Acrobat.
