Google updated Google Maps

Google has officially unveiled the new Google Maps for devices with the Android operating system. The user interface has undergone a complete redesign and now looks a lot cleare. They also removed well known sidebar, which allows you to view map over the full screen. New version of the application has improved navigation and like Waze points to incidents in traffic, and will also inform you if a better route to the destination becomes available.

Does Microsoft Really Think the Xbox One Fits in the Enterprise?

If you want to know where Microsoft is with their Xbox One all you have to do is look at their latest marketing ploy. They are actually pushing the Xbox One to the enterprise… yes you read that right. According to Microsoft the new Xbox is not just for gaming and would make a great addition to any corporate boardroom. Marques Lyons (an Xbox MVP) called the new gaming console an “entirely justifiable” expense for businesses. Lyons’ reasoning is that features such as Skype integration, Wi-Fi direct connect and of course 1080p video capability will be the driving factors for this.

Startup company Kyameta that comes as a spinoff from company Intellectual Ventures these days announced that it has raised investment in the amount of $50 million, and the largest investors are legendary founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, the company Liberty Global and Lux Capital. The company, which develops mobile satellite broadband receiver under the brand mTenna in its board of directors will include Bill Gates, and despite the fact that the market has not yet put forward a single product, it has attracted great attention from the satellite communications industry.

Jelly Bean usage has surpassed Gingerbread

Google's latest operating system for mobile devices, Android Jelly Bean, has finally surpassed Gingerbread and has become the most common version of Android. According to data published by Google, Jelly Bean now holds approximately 37.9% of the share among all Android versions, while the share of Gingerbread is 34.1%.

GTA V gameplay trailer

The first gameplay trailer for Grand Theft Auto V revealed many details about the next chapter of the famous series. Rockstar has in the first place given a more detailed introduction of the three protagonists. It is a former bank robber Michael, that is fightining against the middle age crysis by returning to the old ways, ambitious African American Franklin and Trevor, which is easiest to describe as a total sociopath.
