Is Microsoft Working on a New Music Service To Go With The New Unified Platform for Windows 8?

music01A few years ago we had hope for Microsoft in the phone and mobile media player market. There was a new device on the tablet with a new SoC (System on Chip). This we had one in the lab and it was looking very promising in terms of performance and even style. Then something happened; Microsoft. For those of you that have been around the IT game for a while you will know what I mean here. As for the device; I am talking about the ZuneHD. This was (and still is) arguably the best media player that I have ever owned.

Intel Buys Cray's Interconnect Business; Pays Half what AMD Paid For Seamicro

124AMD may have hit something of a snag in their HPC department. It seems that Intel has bought out Cray’s interconnect business. There is an amendment to CISPA that would grant the Department of Homeland Security some brand new powers over all that data.

14621rotten_appleWell, well, well… although we have been saying it ever since the first Macs with Intel CPUs rolled off the lines in the Foxconn factories in China it seems like the world is finally realizing that the Mac IS a PC just running a different OS. The first kick in the head was delivered when the Flashback Malware hit the streets in the form of a fake flash installer which made any infected Mac part of a global botnet.
