Virtual reality is one of the new “buzz” words in the industry these days and it seems that everyone wants to have a headset of their very own. So far in this round of VR (there have been companies doing VR before) we have seen the rise of Oculus as the leader despite not actually having a product on the market in any real form. Other players that have officially announced their intent are Sony, Google and Samsung.

In the mid-late 1990s the computer world was rocked by a new plague that spread very quickly through most Windows PCs that were running any form of Microsoft Office. This was the Macro virus and there were plenty of examples of these nasty little bits of Microsoft enabled code were written in a form of Visual Basic called VBA (Visual Basic for Applications). Think of VBA as a stripped down version of the more powerful programing languages.

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has proudly announced that their flagship model Mi3 has surpassed 10 million copies sold. The unit started selling in October last year and is at the moment available only in five countries: China (excluding Hong Kong), Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.

Turtle Rock on Friday confirmed that the closed alpha testing of the upcoming title Evolve will be available only for players from the United States, but soon after on the official website appeared open registration for players from all corners of the world.
