Free to Play documentary on Dota 2 and eSports is here

Valve's Dota 2 documentary Free to Play has finally appeared on Steam. The premiere was held in San Francisco, and was followed by a live broadcast via Twitch TV service. Free to Play follows three professional Dota 2 players, Danil "Dendi" Ishutin, Benedict "HyHy" Lim and Clinton "Fear" Loomis, their preparation, and finally participation in the first iteration of the now famous tournament The International.

Former Microsoft employee arrested for leaking Windows 7 and 8

Former Microsoft employee Alex Kibkalo was arrested in Seattle on charges that he is guilty of leaking the various versions of Windows to public before their official publication. During the development of Windows 7 and 8 it was fairly common for screenshots or portions of the source code to leak to the Internet , and often they even appeared as a complete copies of the operating system along with the activation key. One of the culprits for this is the aforementioned Kibkalo.

Duelyst having a very successful Kickstarter campaign

Strategy turn based game Duelyst and its Kickstarter campaign in which the development team asked for $68,000 to finish up the development of the game have successfully finished the first part of the story. Now, a week after the start of the campaign developers can breathe easier because more than 2,000 players provided the necessary funds.

OnePlus One to come with Sony CMOS sensor

Chinese company OnePlus announced its smartphone. It will have 13 megapixel rear camera with Sony's Exmor IMX214 CMOS sensor that has an opening aperture at f/2.0. To prevent any distortion optics consists of six lenses that will also serve to enhance the color and image quality.

Google launches Android OS for wearable devices

Google through its official blog announced a new operating system that will run on future wearable gadgets such as smart watches, bracelets, etc. The new operating system is called Android Wear and as its name suggests is based on the well-known Android. In order to use small screens such come right along with clocks, Google has adapted whole interface.
