HP will produce smartphones once again

HP in collaboration with Taiwanese manufacturers of electronic components cooperate on the development of smartphones, according to DigiTimes. Stories of HP's return to production pf smartphones are circulating for some time, and plans were also indicted by company's director Meg Whitman in an interview with Fox Business Network in September last year.

New Kindle Fire HD is supposed to be 3 times faster

According to data published on the website Boy Genius Report, which refer to several resources in which they have confidence, supposedly the new HD models of Kindlea Fire, whose issuance is expected later this year, will be three times faster than the currently available version.

New SoC from MediaTek

The MediaTek company has recently surpassed the competition with the introduction of the first true SoC with eight cores. In order to improve their market position, they  did not stop at just that, but they presented another product, its first SoC based on ARM big.LITTLE technology. It is a heterogeneous architecture, which combines energy-efficient less powerful processors with the stronger ones that consume more power.

Microsoft has finally released a version of their famous Office tools for mobile devices based on Android. Office Mobile for Android devices, brings an optimized support for Word, PowerPoint and Excel. On mobile devices, it is possible to create new Word and Excel documents, edit existing Word, PowerPoint and Excel documents, it has a special presentation mode for PowerPoint, offline editing, viewing and editing of Office documents from e-mail attachment.

Apple Supplier Facing Heat over Chinese Labor

Pegatron, one of Apples suppliers, is facing heat over the working conditions in its factories in China.  Some of the 86 alleged violations include failing to pay wages, mandatory overtime, and insufficient worker training.
