PlayStation 4 will have “only” 4.5 GB of RAM for games

According to the data available from Sony's technical documents, as well as expert analysis, Sony PS4 console will not allow developers to access all of 8 GB of RAM console has. Specifically, developers will have at their disposal only 4.5 GB, which can additionally be increased to a maximum of 5.5 GB, in “certain cases” and in special configurations.

Huge growth of internet advertising

Spending on online advertising in the first quarter of this year has increased by 26.3% from a year earlier, according to the results of the global advertising market Nielsen. Irrational Games to give Bioshock Infinite Episodes... Hope they have Better Luck Than Valve.

The franchise Bioshock has often be described as the spiritual successor to the original SystemShock Series. Because of this there was a high expectation to meet simply because of the quality of both the original and the follow on to SystemShock. Fortunately for us the team (some actually worked on the original at Looking Glass Studios) was more than up to the task and we have had three excellent games from this team. Now, we are both excited and a little worried about Bioshock as they are talking about moving to an “episode” model for this great game.

Asus to Enter the US Cellular Market

Asus as a company has an interesting past and also an interesting future. In the component industry Asus has emerged as an innovative and competitive company. You can see this in the popularity of their motherboards, GPUs and even audio products that they sell. It seems that many other companies rush to catch up with them as they branch out into more and more vertical markets. Asus has even pushed into the storage market with their own line up of business NAS products and an enthusiast grade PCIe SSD. Asus has also had their hands on products that they design (and build) for other companies. They recently received a huge push when Google decided to use their design for the popular Nexus 7 tablet.
