MMD, a company that is a licensed brand partner for Philips monitors will present a series of new screens at CeBIT 2013. All of the models will be displayed from March 5th to 9th in Hanover at stand no. F51 in hall 15.
The first version of the FX- format lens appeared on the market 12 years ago, and Nikon has now decided that it is time for a refresh. The new lens, named AF-S NIKKOR 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR, brings a completely new design of optics consisting of 20 elements distributed in 12 groups. Four of the 20 elements are made of ED glass (extra-low dispersion), and one is made out of a super ED glass. These ED elements are the main reason behind the high cost of a new lens which in America cost around $2,700. Front glass lens boasts with a nano-crystal coating which reduces the effect of sun flashes (flare).
According to the New York Times, an employee of Samsung revealed to them that Samsung's new Galaxy S IV phone will have a pretty interesting new feature, the "eye tracking" or monitoring the movement made by pupils in the eye. The Galaxy S IV will be launched on the 14th of March in New York.
Socioalmatic’s "Instagram camera" is a hybrid digital camera and small format printer with which the company plans to provide their customers the experience of modern instant cameras as they could once have with the celebrated American company Polaroid. Consequently, it’s not particularly surprising that Socialmatic obtained a license to use the Polaroid name and logo in conjunction with its digital camera.
Danish authorities have launched an investigation against Microsoft in connection with their takeover of Navision in 2002. To be more precise they are worried about Microsoft not paying appropriate taxes on their profit subsidiary which currently operates under the name of Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
