Google closes the free version of Google Apps

Google Apps ,The combination of Google cloud applications intended for group working under a user's domain,  has so far been available to users as both a free (Google Apps Standard Edition) and commercial variety (Google Apps for Business). Google has now decided to put an end to this so they canceled the free option. Individuals can still open up free Google App accounts, but you simply cannot setup one and attach it to a registerd domain name any more, at least not without paying.

Users still want Windows 7 over Windows 8

The Well-known U.S. company Puget Systems, which sells "adjusted" PC's for their users, says that their customers that buy new computers more often choose Windows 7 than the latest Windows OS, Windows 8. [This is in keeping with some prelimiary information we have seen on downgrades – Ed]

Intel rushes to 14 nm processors

Intel plans to use 14-nanometer technology in conjunction with the next generation of processors codenamed Broadwell, heirs of the 22-nanometer Haswell which is expected next year. Intel's chief for technology development, Justin Rattner, said that the development of new production technology is progressing according to the plan and that Intel is expected to use this within one to two years. He emphasized that Intel's aggressive development of new production technologies will allow an extension of Moore’s law for the next 10 years. Moore's Law says that the number of transistors and the density of transistors on chips doubles every two years.

New Gmail app for iOS

After releasing a new version for Android smartphones and tablets, Google has released a new version of their Gmail application for iPhone and iPad. Beside the new design, the biggest news is the ability to use up to five different Gmail accounts on one device. In the older versions user were able to use only one. Integration with other Google applications has been improved, for example, if you receive an invitation to an event from Google Calendar to you Gmail inbox, you no longer need to open another application to confirm the attendance because you can do it directly from Gmail now.
