Facebook has released a new edition of their application for use on devices based on Android. Unlike previous versions the new is not based on HTML, but a native app for Google's mobile OS. Frank Qixing Du, an engineer on the Facebook for Android team said that “This new release creates a solid foundation for the Facebook for Android app moving forward. The infrastructure in place will let us continue to make the app even faster, smoother, and feature-rich.”

After a few passengers strayed into the dangerous areas full of poisonous snakes and other not so hospitable animals, Australian police issued a warning that advises people to avoid usage of the built-in navigation app in Apple devices. Looks like Apple just can’t get out of trouble with their maps and navigation. First they had an incident with Google Maps and now they have apparently led several people into very dangerous areas.

If you're a Last.fm user and you pulled three euros a month for a subscription, you probably did it for two reasons: to see who visits your profile and for the possibility of listening to internet radio. Last.fm's radio works in a way that you type in the performers name, genre or one third of the tag by which you want to perform a selection of music (or choose friends whose music collection you want to listen to), then the stream will immediately initiate. That is a great way to listen to music when you do not know what to play, or if you just want to discover new bands.

General Electric (GE) has demonstrated a very interesting system of cooling computer chips. The system is called Dual Piezoelectric Cooling Jets (DCJ) and it is a reduced version of the cooling system they already developed for cooling jet engines - the first patent for DCJ to General Electric was given back in 2004.
