SEAL's punished for helping Electronic Arts with Medal of Honor: Warfighter

Imagine how bad MOH Warfighter would be if they did not have valuable advice from a couple of U.S. Navy SEAL's during the game development. I cannot, but their superiors believe that the Navy would be better if they never contacted Electronic Arts. Specifically, the seven members, some of them ex, some still active members of the naval elite Special Forces were fined for revealing military secrets to the development studio that made MOH: Warfighter.

Should we be more concerned about privacy now?

The election is over and nothing much has changed as far as the balance of power in the US, which makes us wonder if we should be concerned about a free and open internet more than ever. We know that the head of the MPAA Chris Dodd has close ties to the Whitehouse and also to many members of Congress. To make things worse Dodd will be free to openly interact with all of his former buddies sometime in February of 2013. We know that he has, and still is, pushing for laws to monitor and control the internet to protect the interests of the other members of his cartel. However, there is more to this dynamic than we first saw last year during the barrage of ignorant and oppressive laws trying to limit communication (and technological advances) and it has to do with a particular mindset.

Cheaper older generation Athlons coming from AMD

AMD logo

AMD has lowered the prices for a total of eighteen processors from older generations, mainly for FM1 and AM3 sockets. Within the A Series APU chips for FM1 socket prices were changed for six processors, ranging from a minimum of 3.7% for A6-3670K (from $80 to $77) to 21.7% ($46 to $36) for A4-3300.

Windows 8 store reaches 13,000 apps

The Windows 8 online store is growing bigger every day and so far they have reached a promising milestone. With all the Windows 8 devices coming out, it was just a matter of time before the apps accumulated; now they have 13,000 applications in their application store. In the past 8 days there was almost three thousand applications added, this means that it grew at a rate of 362 applications per day.

Will the iPad Mini get the Retina display in 2013?

One of the things that was most criticized about the new iPad Mini was certainly the lack of the Retina Display, but it seems that this will no longer be the case.  Just days after Apple officially started selling the iPad Mini, rumors about is successor have already started to spread.
