FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Genius Announces EasyPen M406WE Wireless Graphics-Design Tablet for Windows and Mac

Comfortably Create, Paint and Edit Photos with Bundled Corel Painter

August 15, 2012, Chino, California – Genius today releases its EasyPen M406WE. This wireless graphics-design tablet with a 4” x 6” working area is bundled with Corel Painter Essentials 4 making it easy to create, paint and edit photos on both Windows and Mac.

When using the EasyPen M406WE, users can create and paint on the couch, on the floor, or across the room thanks to this Genius tablet's 2.4Ghz wireless connectivity. If the included three AAA rechargeable batteries run out of power when in use, users can simply plug in the micro USB cable for a quick recharge.

With 2560 lines per inch (LPI) and a report rate per second (RPS) of 125, the EasyPen M406WE allows for precise designs. The battery-free cordless pen is pressure sensitive with 1024 pressure levels, making brush strokes thicker or thinner depending on how hard the stylus is pressed and mimics traditional painting. The cordless stylus also doubles as a mouse. A left-click is achieved by simply pushing down on the stylus. Two buttons near the tip of the stylus serves as a right-click button and a scroll button.

Four express keys (Eraser, Undo, New Layer & Brush) located on the left side of the tablet simplify the creative process. A stylus clip on the side means you can take the EasyPen M406WE wherever you need to go.

The Genius EasyPen M406WE graphics-design tablet's bundled software includes:

  • Corel Painter Essentials 4 – allowing you to draw and paint from scratch as well as turn photos into stunning paintings.
  • PenDrawer (Windows only) – allowing you to make personal annotations on your favorite photos and save to popular file formats to easily share with your family and friends.
