CES 2012 Las Vegas Nevada - As with anything related to technology we had to stop and admire the new "look" of some of the booths. We found that this year companies actually went far enough to teach the shopw models something about the product. Unfortunately a lunch on Friday (and the show closing at 4 instead of 6PM) limitefd the amount of time we had to capture this very important part of any CES visit.

CES-2012 Las Vegas, Nevada; Cooler Master is celebrating their 20th anniversary along with some nice new products. We had the chance to take a look at these… and to get a glimpse of a few future products, but we cannot talk about those just yet. Still we can talk about more than a few nice new and updated products that will be aimed at the gamers and even the mainstream market.

CES 2012 - Las Vegas Nevada; nVidia had their big press conference for CES 2012 and as has been the trend for the last three years it is all about Tegra. This time we had a look at Tegra 3; As most of you know Tegra 3 is nVidia’s Quad/Quint Core SoC and is hitting the market in the form of Asus’ Transformer Prime Tablet. This new SoC (System on Chip) has been seen as the major competitor for Apple’s A6 SoC (although some still feel that the A6 has better and more elegant caching instructions).

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012 kicks off in three days. At that time a multitude (you might even call it a plethora) of consumer electronics companies will head to Las Vegas in an attempt to get the masses that attend interested in their new products. Amongst the many regular attendees will be purchasing agents from big companies like Best Buy, Fry’s Target and many others. Sandwiched in there as well will be various media outlets from the Internet, Print and even TV.  All of this will go to make a merry chaotic environment that will be difficult if not impossible to comprehend.
