Asus shows off at CES 2012... Just a little

_MG_7334CES 2012, Las Vegas, Nevada – We found Asus in the Trump Tower near the top of the building. I honestly think they had the entire floor up there, but we were only there to see a small portion of what Asus has to offer to the consumer. Asus, as most of you know already is one of the leading manufacturers of computer components. They also have their own channel marketing team and make quite a bit more than just motherboards, GPUs, Audio cards and networking gear.

Gigabyte at CES 2012... the Z77 makes its Debut

_MG_7313CES 2012; Las Vegas, Nevada – We had the chance to visit the Gigabyte booth and take a look at what they have to offer. Gigabyte has not always been a serious contender in the motherboard (or GPU) market, but starting about 5 years ago they took a long hard look at what they were doing and made some impressive changes. So with that in mind let’s take a look at what Gigabyte has to offer the market in 2012.

Vegas Virgin to CES Tramp

cashoutI don’t know if I was more intimidated by my husband Sean’s stories of CES and its chaos, or the stereotypical Las Vegas of films and television. I’d never had an inclination to go to either, but Sean insisted I should at least give it a chance this year. I joined him and I'm glad I did. I'll be better prepared for CES 2013 - because I'm going back!

Kingston at CES 2012; Memory, Flash, SSDs and Something Extra

_MG_7404CES 2012, Las Vegas, Nevada – another of the stops that we had during the week-long show was Kingston. We have worked with Kingston for a very long time and have always appreciated their unique mix of open ideas and standards. Kingston is one of the few companies that have always ensured the broadest base of compatibility while not giving up on performance.
