Logitech has decided to sell some parts of the company after getting some bad financial results in the third quarter of fiscal 2013. The company in this period made $615 million in revenue and an operating loss of $180 million which is a 14 percent drop compared to the same time last year.
Electronic Arts has announced the upcoming open beta for Crysis 3 in a press release. The new beta will be available on all platforms (PC, PS3 and X360). The beta testing will last two weeks and will “ship” with two game modes that focus on team play. The Crash Site mode requires the player to provide a defense at a predetermined location on the map. The longer you maintain control over the point the more points your team will get and thus get closer to victory.
According to information released by CNBC, Microsoft is reportedly in talks with Michael Dell and private investment fund Silver Lake Partners to assist them in taking Dell, or in purchasing all shares in the company so they would have full ownership. Portal VGLEAKS says they managed to get their hands on the detailed specifications of Microsoft's new video game console Xbox 720 (Durango). Although there is no indication from which source this information came from, it sounds quite plausible and very interesting. The leaked specs partially overlap with some earlier rumors which do add to their credibility.
