Google is the most valuable global brand in 2014

According to the latest rankings of 100 most valuable global brands compiled by market research firm Millward Brown, Google is the most valuable brand in the world. Google has come to the first spot instead of Apple, which was the first in the rankings for three years, but now fell to second place because the Apple's value on an annual basis fell by 20 % and now amounts to $148 billion.

nVidia moves Tegra from Smartphones to Gaming and Automotive

Back when nVidia first launched the original Tegra SoC CEO Jen-Hsun Huang stated that it would change the face of media players, phones and tablets. He fully expected Tegra to become more than 50% of nVidia’s business (revenue) and put the green team to work making that happen. After a few months of hearing about the advantages of Tegra I was finally able to put one to the test in the form of the now-gone ZuneHD. It was an impressive experience and I still have and use that device on an almost daily basis.

eBay breached by hackers in late February

Global auction service eBay was hacked. The company began sending alerts to its users to change their passwords. The attack compromised the personal data of eBay users - names, (encrypted) passwords, email addresses, and phone numbers. However, the company assures that the financial information of users are safe, and there is no indication that the PayPal was hacked too.

New update for Android version of Gmail

Users who do not want or simply do not have enough room on their Android devices for attachments that they received via Gmail service, can now save their attachments via new options. The new version of the Gmail application for Android devices will be able to directly store attachments received via Gmail in Google's data storage service - Google Drive.
