Samsung gave up on Windows 8

Shin in an interview with the Wall Street Journal, in which he complained that the market demand for tablets with Microsoft's Windows 8 and RT are very poor, and it apparently applies to mobile phones with WindowsPhone operating system as well.

Apple still in lead in the U.S.

Apple is still the leading manufacturer of "smart" mobile phones in the U.S., and they were even able to take away part of the market from manufacturers of the devices based on Android, according to a new report by ComScore. Entire market of "smart" mobile phones in the U.S. continues to grow, and in January, 127 million people in the U.S. owned a smartphone, an increase of 7% compared to October.

Samsung invests into Sharp
