According to VG247, Grand Theft Auto 5 has recently been listed as the most expensive game ever. It is estimated that on the development and marketing was spent 170 million pounds, and the whole thing can be compared with the budgets of the famous Hollywood film works such as Pirates of the Caribbean or Avatar.

Hacker Tracker Company Gets $30 Million in Funding to Build Anti-Hacker Software

Cyber Security firm Crowdstrike has managed to pull in $30 million in funding to aid their efforts to track down foreign hackers. The money comes from Accel Partners and Warbug Pincus and shows just how much interest (and money) there is in Cyber Security. Crowdstrike is well known for their hands on approach to tracking down malicious individuals that break into corporate networks. And has had some success over (or they would not be getting the money).

Microsoft Pushes Xbox Music Out to Android and iOS

Microsoft is an interesting company. Over the years they have built more than a few very solid products (including operating systems), but because of a lack of real leadership and marketing ability many of these products have remained in the shadows. One of these has been the Zune music service Zune Pass. This service was put into competition with Apple’s iTunes at the height of Apple’s power and consumer influence. Microsoft updated the service when they launched the ill-fated Zune HD that allowed for unlimited downloads and streaming with a simple monthly fee and still failed to get the service to take off.
