Intel shows off their smallest SoC ever; the Quark

Intel started their Intel Developers Forum (IDF), held from 10-12.9. in San Francisco, in a very interesting conference where the CEO Brian Krzanich showed interesting new products.One of them is 14nm Broadwell Intel SoC, which Krzanich demonstrated as a part of an unknown reference notebook on which he did not present any details.

Why Knot – a simple invention which prevents your headphones from tangling

How many times have you reached into your pockets to pull out headphones and instead of listenting to favourite music spent the next few minutes untangling the "gordian knot" your headphones decided to make. Mladen Šimić, 27 year old Master of sociology from Croatia decided to put an end to this extremely annoying problem. He created "why knot", a very simple object that will keep your headphones from tangling and, what's even more important, damaging, since you dont have to wrap the cable around anything nor bend the connection spots.

PayPal Lanuches the Beacon

PayPal last year launched their system called Here, which allows users to buy products in certain stores that support their system of "digital wallet". It enables customers to pay by simply placing  their smartphone near the PoS device, instead of using cash credit cards.

Toshiba Encore Tablet Shown off at IFA

Toshiba launched their 8-inch tablet named Encore which comes with "full" version of Windows 8 at IFA. The tablet will come preinstalled with Windows 8.1, and will be on sale in the last quarter of this year.
