BioWare co-founders Dr. Ray Muzyka and Dr. Greg Zeschuk who needs no introduction, will be awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the annual Game Developers Choice Awards (GDCA). The thirteenth consecutive awards ceremony will be held on 27th March at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, and will be led by veteran of the game industry Tim Shafer from Double Fine.

The Supreme Court in Los Angeles has dismissed the allegations by Axl Rose in a lawsuit against Activision which were first filed in 2010. Rose sued Activision claiming that in the game Guitar Hero 3, they used the song by Guns N' Roses Welcome to the Jungle, while for the promotion of the mentioned game they used the character of Slash and his former band Velvet Revolver.
The web portal Gizchina have released a few interesting pictures that are supposed to be from a Foxconn factory (probably in China). These photos allegedly show some mobile devices that could possibly be an iPhone 5S. It looks pretty much the same as the iPhone 5 which is expected and furthers the rumors that it will be just a slight improvement regarding hardware specs.
Portable electronic devices are everywhere today, from cell phones to tablets, and more find their way into our hands every day. The power-hungry gadgets we have today often require daily charging, sometimes more often than that. In the usual course of day-to-day life that isn’t an issue, as power is readily available and inexpensive, but sometimes we need our portable electronics to be portable for more than a day.

A gaming tablet called the WikiPad will finally go on sale this spring at a price of $249. The WikiPad Company unveiled the first prototype of this tablet at last year's CES in a 10 inch version, but this tablet has never been on sale.
