Ubisoft to improve Uplay

Ubisoft is preparing quite a few serious modifications to their notorious online service Uplay. Stephanie Perotti has revealed that they want to improve the relationship with the PC community, and that they are currently looking for ways to improve Uplay. First of all it seems they will try to attract gamers by bringing a wider range of games to Uplay, as well as new features and options.

OCZ announces a cheaper Vertex, the Vertex 3.20

OCZ decided to make certain changes in their Vertex 3 series SSDs, which should make these products come at a more affordable price. These modified devices are branded Vertex 3.20, and as the specifications are concerned they are equal to standard SSD's with the exception of NAND type of memory and come in a 2.5” format.

LG launches Optimus F devices

LG has announced that they will exhibit two devices from a new line of smartphones, the Optimus F, at the Mobile World Congress next week. These are a modem equipped models that work on the LTE mobile networks – the Optimus F5 and F7.

Ubuntu for tablets

Canonical chief Mark Shuttleworth personally presented the new Ubuntu OS dedicated to tablets. The first tablet with the new OS that will be available for visitors to try it out should come to the upcoming MWC 2013 show in Barcelona. According to what has been shown, the operating system is very similar to the recently introduced Ubuntu OS based on Linux for smart phones, with one dramatic difference. OS for the tablet is able to run two applications simultaneously, so you would say that it is characterized by multitasking
