People don’t buy Surface not even for Christmas

An analyst from the company R.W. Baird announced that he has had a conversation with representatives of retail chains that are offering tablets, such as Best Buy and Staples. They told him that they will push the iPad for the holidays, and shall recommend it as an alternative to Amazon's Kindle or one of Samsung's Galaxy tabs. The reps also told him that the Google Nexus 10 was also doing fine, but the Microsoft Surface was practically forgotten.

iPad 5 to arrive in March

In March of this year (2012), Apple launched the iPad 3. That was the company's first tablet with a so-called Retina display that brought a much high resolution. Few expected that Apple would go ahead and launch the fourth generation iPad only eight months after the launch of the third generation and then follow with the iPad mini so quickly. The Fifth generation, they say, is just around the corner.

China intends to change some of their legislation to prevent local businesses from maliciously appropriating the commercial names of world famous companies and products. The owners of global brands have the right to prohibit the unauthorized registration/use of their names and logos in China. [It is not just world famous brands though as it is a common practice to try and register almost any name that is not registered globally – Ed]
