Just as we wrote about Minecraft creator Persson and his refusal to release a Minecraft version for Windows 8, they marked a 4 million sales milestone for their Xbox 360 version of the game. 4J Studios tweeted “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition has passed 4 million sales! Incredible number, thanks to you all!”. With numbers constantly increasing it's not really a big deal for them to decide not to support newest Windows.
As you already know, what is free on the internet, is usually filled with ads and banners of all kind, and on The Pirate Bay particularly you can see lots of those cheap ones, that lead you to sites that will bring you tons of money if you just work at home and stuff like that. But surprisingly Canada's Economic Action Plan banner appeared on the website this week; unfortunately the feds didn’t like that and removed it as soon as they noticed it. It's no wonder that they decided to post their banners on The Pirate Bay as they are in top 50 most visited websites in Canada.

Basketball fans will have to wait until the next year before the new NBA Live game will reach their hands. This is an example that making games is not a simple job, especially big games like NBA Live. EA sports Executive VP Andrew Wilson stated on their official website “But making great games is not easy, and we're just not there yet on NBA LIVE 13. Having continued to look at the game over the past few days, it's clear that we won't be ready in October. And rather than launch midway through the season, we're going to sit out the full year and stay focused on making next year’s game great.“.
A Chinese court ruled that the Cupertino company, mostly known for their original ideas and patents on everything (sarcasm), was responsible for the sale of unauthorized digital copies of an encyclopedia published by Encyclopedia of China Publishing House. Even though the publisher asked for RMB 530,000 ($84,200), the final judgment that came on Thursday by Beijing's Second Intermediate People's Court was that Apple needs to pay a bit lower sum, RMB 520,000 ($82,600).
I was never sure why people play Minecraft and even after I watched people play it I couldn’t find anything interesting in it. Now I have started to like them, as game maker Markus “Notch“ Persson has expressed his disappointment over Windows 8. If you are a fan of this game, and play it regularly don’t rush with upgrading to Windows 8, because you won’t be able to play the game if you do that. That's right, Persson stated on his twitter “Got an email from Microsoft, wanting to help “certify“ minecraft for win8. I told them to stop trying to ruin the pc as an open platform.”
