If you ever played a 3D games from your browser, like Quake Live or BananaBread 3D, you already know that the biggest problem in doing this is, of course, the mouse pointer going over the edge of the browser screen and leaving you in a stupid situation where you can’t control your in-game pointer for those few moments until you bring the mouse back on the game. Now Google has finally launched an update to fix this issue. The Pointer Lock API restricts the mouse movement inside of the app (game) window making it possible to play browser games like you do with standard games on your PC.
It looks like there is a simple hack, containing of only one line of code that can start an unstoppable factory reset on the Samsung Galaxy S3. According to security researchers there is a simple USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) code that can do some serious harm to S3 owners. USSD is a session based GSM protocol unlike SMS and MMS, and it is used to send messages between a mobile phone and an application server. With the advancements in technology there are more than few services based on USSD, some of them are social networking apps, mobile banking, prepaid recharge/account balance, even the NFC technology and QR codes.
Super cheap Android based tablets are getting their new version and now it's even cheaper, well only by $5, but when you get a tablet for $35 who the hell cares. You are probably already opening eBay and searching for it, but hold on a second. It's only available in India, and their government started this project to provide their students a cheap device to help them with studies. The tablet is manufactured in the UK, by the company DataWind and it should be arriving in India next month.

So the iPhone 5 is here, the sales numbers are in and while the new phone from Apple is doing well it is actually falling short of analyst predictions and in some cases consumer expectation. One of the key areas is the new Maps App. Until recently Apple utilized Google Maps for iOS. However, with their ongoing war against all things Android Apple has started systematically dropping anything developed by the Advertising giant. So far we have YouTube and Maps that are gone from the official version of iOS and we are sure that more items will start to drop or perhaps get rejected by the content police that Apple employs.
Yesterday Apple released iOS 5.1 for Apple TV. It brought few new things but nothing spectacular. The most noticeable is custom network configurations that can be set up by the Apple configurator. This application allows a user to configure and control multiple iOS devices they have in household. The latest update brings some new features beside the usual stability and performance fixes, so users will now be able to save multiple iTunes accounts and switch between them. Also Apple has added support for Shared Photo Streams and AirPlay broadcasting from Apple TV to all other devices.
